Listen to Pandora from your desktop
Pandora is one of the best online music services you'll come across and, thanks to PandoraJam, you'll be able to enjoy it straight from your desktop. The application is fitted with a nice interface which displays a list of your stations, the basic playback buttons and a handy search bar. You can set the autoscrobble feature to submit your songs to Last.fm and use Growl to get popup updates on new songs in your list. PandoraJam will show status updates in Skype, Adium and iChat but not other IM clients.
PandoraJam is much more than a simple desktop application for Mac though. The program adds wireless streaming to Airport Express, which although unstable every now and then, should work well if you have a good wireless connection. You'll also be able to record songs playing in PandoraJam to play them in your iPod or iTunes. Unfortunately, since Pandora.com is now only available to the UK and US, lots of users will shy away from it and turn to Last.fm, which also provides a good desktop playback client.
PandoraJam is a desktop application for the online music service Pandora, with nice advanced features.
supports Classic Flash version of Pandora website (and not the new HTML5 version) and will try to load the Classic Flash version support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion (requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later) now streams music to AppleTV fixes a problem streaming music to some Airport Express units auto reloads if the app does not launch properly and thus cannot enhance the Pandora website (this means you no longer have to 'Empty Cache', quit and relaunch the app) auto fixing of windowing position (when sometimes Pandora website message banners caused the entire display to be shifted down) KNOWN ISSUE: On Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, Adobe Flash Player version 10,3 repeats letter keystrokes. This affects the Flash Player when running in 32 bit mode (which is what PandoraJam runs in), but not in 64 bit mode. Downgrading to Flash Player version 10,2 eliminates the keystroke problem.

I really miss Pandorajam. The small fee of $15 was nothing considering what you got for your money. I really wish they would bring it back. Please, Please, Please! More

Awful. .
Bought Pandora Jam 2.0 for $15 and feel ripped off. The program freezes constantly. Will start up just fine but as soon as you try to change station, say you are still listening, pause or restart the music the program freezes. Customer support is non existent. I have requested support and then eventually a refund and have received no response to any of my queries. Looks like it would be a great program if it actually worked. I use a Mac book pro running OSX (10.6.8).
Pros:
Looks like an awesome program when it does work.
Cons:
a refresh button is needed. More

Where are previous versions?.
I understand not wanting to support earlier versions of PJ, but why exclude Mac users who have older computers that USED to run PJ but now can't because no archiver versions are available? Of course I already paid my $15 so why bother with customer service of any kind? I loved being able to use PJ with my mac but when my company reformatted the machine, I was no longer able to use it and am very disappointed. Unfortunately, there is no comparable product out there for Mac or PC, in my opinion, but I am forced to choose another option.
Pros:
Excellent song recording capacity and interface with Itunes
Cons:
Lack of availability of versions More

Streaming music through airtunes and adding to your iTunes library..
The program works pretty well. It's easy to install and there's nothing to configure. When you launch the program it opens Pandora. On the lower left is a dropdown box just like iTunes to choose which speakers you want to stream to. Hit the record button and PJ creates a folder in your music folder. It then copies this music to you itunes library and, if you like, erases the copy in your PJ music folder. There is no way to enter a password for your base station, so you need to open airport utility and remove any password. The only bummer is the free trial scam. The free trial does not work. You have to pay up.Pandorajam interrupts loading Pandora and asks for your email, etc. When you try to move on, it says you need to agree to terms and it needs more information. Fine, except there is no screen and no way to enter it.Recording works somewhat and does a great job when it does, adding to the iTunes library. It is often necessary to pause, clear the pandorajam cache and restart pandorajam or even your computer.
Pros:
Easy way to stream music over airtunes and add music to your iTunes library.
Cons:
Recording stops frequently and it takes several restarts to get it going again.Does not work with password protected airport express.Free trial download does not work. No way to enter required information do will not load pandora. More

HELP!!!!!! + love your program.
I am a passionate Pandorajam user, I have paid you for it. With my last "search for a new radio station" I was told, maximum # of stations is 100. I have 89 stations, also am a paid member. Is there such a limit for a paid user? Also I have 89 not 100, so how would I proceed to get 11 more stations. Is there any other option paid or unpaid? Many thanks, Kathryn aka kwcalm
Pros:
You have a FABULOUS program. I have learned about many artists I did not know before and have bought their albums.
Cons:
I could not find "contact us" information on your site. I get bounced off the counter (length of song) regularly and then it does not record. The remedy has been to dump your software and re download it. I have done that over 30 times. More
